There is a place for you in this work.

Give financially

Flexible support helps cover transportation, warehouse operations, program supplies, direct purchases and the people who make the work possible.

Be Kind Birmingham Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Give quality goods a second life

Be Kind Birmingham operates primarily through community-donated inventory. We accept clean, gently used or new clothing, all types of clean and wearable shoes, hygiene items, household goods, workwear and seasonal essentials. Our greatest footwear need right now is tennis shoes in all children’s and adult sizes.

Needs change as inventory moves through the community. Please review our Current Needs page before donating to see the items most urgently needed.
